We created a quick noodle soup using Just Flavour's Oriental, egg noodles, stock and greens topped with beef wontons and soft boiled egg for the ultimate Asian comfort meal 😌 You'll also find our Oriental Beef Wonton recipe here 🙌🏽
Beef Wonton Noodle Soup
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red chilli, sliced (optional)
1 tbsp Just Flavour Oriental
- 500ml beef stock, reduced salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, reduced salt
- 100g dried egg noodles
6 Just Flavour beef wontons (raw) recipe here
- 1 pak choy, cored, halved
- 1/2 cup spring onions, sliced
Put a pot on the stove for the egg and boil for 7 minutes if you like them soft or 10 minutes for firm (optional).
Heat oil in a pot on low. Fry chilli and Oriental for 1 minute. If not using chilli, just fry the Oriental for 1 minute to allow the flavours to release and seasoning to dissolve.
Add stock, water, soy and bring to the boil.
Add noodles and beef wontons and gently simmer for 3 minutes.
Add greens, turn off the heat. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if required.
Serve with egg and fresh coriander. A squeeze of lime is also optional and can bring another level of flavour, enjoy!
