We just love how easy it is to make a variety of Asian dishes with Just Flavour's Oriental 🤗 we have shared a few different versions of our stir fry, which you may notice something they all have in common. The sauce recipe!
All you need is 1 tbsp of Just Flavour Oriental, 1 tsp of corn flour mixed with 1/2 cup of stock or water. The sauce will thicken during cooking and coat the stir fry ingredients nicely.
You can add extra flavours to this such as sesame oil, honey or soy and you've just created your own Oriental sauce without the additives 🙌🏽 Let's get creative!
Tofu Stir fry
Dinner / Lunch / Meal Prep
1 tbsp Just Flavour Oriental
1 tsp corn flour
1/2 cup vegetable stock, salt reduced or water
1 tbsp soy sauce, reduced salt
1 x 300g block of firm tofu, cubed
1 tbsp peanut oil
4 cups of stir fry veg, sliced (optional to prepare your own, or save time and purchase pre-cut fresh or frozen stir fry veg
1 red chilli, sliced (optional)
rice to serve
Mix together the sauce ingredients until lumps dissolve, set aside.
Use paper towel to pat dry the tofu. Then cut into 2cm cubes.
Heat oil and fry tofu until golden, about 8 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towel.
In the same pan, add greens and chilli. Stir-fry for about 6 minutes, add the sauce after 2 minutes. Cook until veg has softened to your liking and sauce has thickened.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve with rice, enjoy! ✌🏽
