Coming at you with a recipe request, BEEF STIR FRY! 🙌🏽
The recent launch of our Oriental blend now allows you to create Asian inspired meals and our JF fam are loving it!! 😍 Our little trick to tender beef strips for a stir fry, is to cook the steak separately and unsliced. You will have more control of the doneness and the beef strips will be nice and tender and not over cooked 👌🏽
Beef Noodle Stir fry
Dinner / Lunch / Meal Prep
1 tbsp Just Flavour Oriental
1 tsp corn flour
1/2 cup beef stock, salt reduced or water
1 tbsp soy, reduced salt
2 tsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
300g rump steak
3 cups of stir fry veg (we used carrot, beans, broccoli, zucchini & mushrooms) optional to prep your own, or save time & purchase pre-cut fresh or frozen stir fry veg
1 x 400g packet of Wokka whole grain noodles
spring onions, sliced (optional)
Mix together sauce ingredients until lumps dissolve, set aside.
Heat oil and sear steak in a hot pan for 2 minutes each side, set aside to rest.
Add veggies to the same pan and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the sauce and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, until the veggies have softened and sauce has thickened.
Slice steak into strips, add steak and juices to the stir fry with noodles and mix well. The heat will further cook the beef.
Turn off the heat once steak is cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper, serve with fresh spring onions, enjoy! ✌🏽
