Beef Meatballs

Moroccan beef meatballs recipe just flavour natural healthy chef

Beef Meatballs

Makes approx. 16

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small brown onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 x 400g tin tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp JF Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 tbsp JF Moroccan seasoning
  • 1 tbsp milk of your choice

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°c. Heat oil in a small pot and sauté onion and garlic.


Add tomatoes, Italian and tomato paste. Gently simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper if required. Pour into a baking dish. 

 

In a large bowl, add mince, Moroccan and milk. Gently mix until well combined. You may have to get your hands dirty here!


Use a tablespoon to measure mixture and roll into balls. Place directly into the baking dish with tomato mixture.

 

Bake for 20 minutes. Mix and turn balls halfway to ensure even cooking. Serve with pasta or Garlic Mash and salad or use for meal prep!
