So good! And super filling! 😍 if you’re not into prawns, you can always switch to chicken, tuna, or a plant-based alternative 🤗
Not going to lie, tahini isn’t my fav in terms of flavour. It’s bitter and I’ve never enjoyed it since my chef apprentice days making hummus 😅
However, I love that it’s super creamy and nutty and wanted to create a dressing with it 🤗
I mixed the tahini with greek yoghurt for the added protein and to help counteract the bitterness.
Along with lemon juice, @justflavourco ‘s natural Moroccan seasoning, sugar free maple syrup and salt.
Once mixed together with the salad and prawns, you can taste vibrant, nutty, creamy Moroccan flavours that’s a little bit sweet and a little bit savoury 👌🏽
No bitterness at all and a great lunch or meal prep idea 🙌🏽

Prawn Chickpea Salad with Creamy Moroccan Tahini Dressing
Lunch / Dinner / Meal Prep
Vibrant and fresh!
150g raw prawns, shelled
1 tsp Just Flavour Italian
2 x 125g can chickpeas
150g (1 cup) cherry toms, halved
150g (4-5) qukes (baby cucumber)
50g (1/4 cup) Danish fetta
20g hulled tahini (make sure it’s hulled and not unhulled as that’s even more bitter!)
60g (1/4 cup) Chobani Greek yoghurt
1/2 tsp Just Flavour Moroccan
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tsp Steeves sugar free maple
Mix the prawns or protein alternative with Just Flavour Italian. Spray a non-stick pan with oil and sear prawns for a few minutes until opaque.
Drain and rinse chickpeas, chop salad ingredients and add to a bowl.
Mix dressing ingredients together with a generous pinch of salt to taste. Drizzle over salad and mix to combine.
Serve between 2 bowls and top with prawns, enjoy 🤗
