Lemon herb pork schnitzels for your mid week meal 😍 this dish is super easy to make! Serve with your favourite sides or sliced into strips and enjoy in a wrap. We pan fried this recipe, however, you can also cook in the air fryer for a healthier version ✌🏽
Lemon Herb Pork Schnitzels
4 pork scotch fillet steaks (approx. 600g)
1 free range egg
2 tbsp Just Flavour Lemon Herb
1 tbsp milk
1/3 cup plain flour
1 1/2 cups panko crumbs
oil for frying
Pound pork with a mallet until 1 cm thick.
Mix together egg, 1 tbsp Just Flavour Lemon Herb and milk.
Place flour into a baking dish and lightly dust both sides of the schnitzels.
Coat schnitzels with egg mix, set aside.
Mix together 1 tbsp Just Flavour Lemon Herb and crumbs. Coat both sides of schnitzels, set aside.
Cover the base of a pan with oil, heat on medium.
Fry schnitzels for 2-3 minutes each side until golden. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent burning. Serve with your fav sides, enjoy!
