1. ROOM TEMP⁠

About 30 minutes prior to cooking, bring the steak up to room temp, as this will ensure even cooking 🙌🏽

2. SEASON⁠

Seasoning your steak right, is what makes this meal great! We recommend Just Flavour's Everything, Italian or Peri Peri. ⁠

3. SIZZLE⁠

Use medium - high heat so the meat seals immediately. Prevent overcrowding the pan as this can reduce temperature and cause the meat to stew = chewy! 🍳⁠ ⁠

4. TURN ONCE⁠

Don’t mess around with it! Let it sizzle and do it's thing! Unless you like it well done. ⁠

5. REST⁠

The steak, not you 🤣 Personally, this is the MOST important step!!! Rest steak about 5 minutes after cooking, loosely covered in foil.

WHY?

Well not because the steak is tired 😂 but to retain moisture and FLAVOUR! 👌🏽⁠ keep in mind, the internal temperature will continue cooking as the food cools.
