This crumb recipe is super simple, only requires 2 ingredients and an air-fryer šš½ If you don't have your hands on an air-fryer, this dish can be shallow fried instead, you'll just need to use more oil āŗļø
We then served this crunchy calamari with orange and roast fennel salad using Just Flavour's Moroccan in the dressing to compliment the flavours šš½
Air Fried Squid with Orange and Fennel Salad

Bursting with fresh sweet orange segments, roasted fennel and peppery rocket, topped with crunchy, spiced squid makes for a lip smacking meal!

Ingredients
1 fennel bulbā , finely sliced
2 orangesā , segmented
60g packet of baby rocketā
1 tbsp olive oilā
-
1/2 tsp Just Flavour Moroccanā
1 tsp seeded mustardā
3 tbsp polentaā
-
1 tbsp Just Flavour's Everythingā
2 small squid tubesā , scored, sliced into 2 cm strips

Directions
Pre-heat oven to 200°c. Prepare the fennel bulb by trimming the stalks, removing the core and thinly slice. Place in a baking dish, drizzle with oil, salt and pepper. Roast for 10 minutesā .
Remove the skin and white pith of the oranges. Over a bowl, carefully remove segments with a sharp knife. Squeeze excess juice after segmenting the orange and pour into a jar for the dressingā .
Add oil, Just Flavour Moroccan and seeded mustard to the dressing, shake well, set asideā .
Mix together polenta and Just Flavour 'Everything' in a bowl with salt and pepper, set asideā .
Cut through one side of the squid tube and lay flat. Gently score the tubes in a diamond pattern. Prevent cutting all the way through. Then slice squid into 2 cm strips and crumb, set asideā .
Spray the basket of the air fryer with oil. Place squid in the basket and spray again with oil. Cook on 200°c for 3 minutesā .
Meanwhile, mix salad ingredients together and serve between 2 bowls. Top with golden squid and enjoy!ā
