There’s no denying Christmas can be a stressful time leading up to the day, especially if you’re the host! 😅
We put together a list of 5 tips to make things a little stress-free this Christmas 🙌🏽
1️⃣ Make a plan
Plan out your menu and any recipes you require. Don't forget to organise your equipment as well.
Create a shopping list based on your menu and recipes.
Confirm your guest list to work out portion sizes and quantities.
2️⃣ Simplify
Take a look at your menu and really ask yourself if you need that extra bowl of salad or 5 different sauces. Prevent going overboard!
Stock the essentials such as oil, sauces, condiments, cans, jars, Just Flavour seasonings, salt and pepper to easily flavour your dishes.
3️⃣ Prep ahead *chef tip
This is what chefs do to prepare the restaurant for service. Prepare as much as possible a day or two in advance.
Prep and peel vegetables, sauces or side dishes that can be finished in the oven or stove on the day.
4️⃣ Involve family
Christmas is about spending time with family and friends. Everyone can be involved in bringing a Christmas feast together.
Just leave the saying 'there's too many cooks..' behind! 😅
5️⃣ Clean as you go
A no-brainer but easily forgotten!! It's honestly a game changer and one of my biggest tips.
Mess creates stress, do yourself a favour and clean as you go! 🙌🏽
